Senior Product Manager - Tech, Prime Video Advertising

Prime Video is a first-stop entertainment destination offering customers a vast collection of premium programming in one app available across thousands of devices. Prime members can customize their viewing experience and find their favorite movies, series, documentaries, and live sports – including Amazon MGM Studios-produced series and movies; licensed fan favorites; and programming from Prime Video add-on subscriptions such as Apple TV+, Max, Crunchyroll and MGM+. All customers, regardless of whether they have a Prime membership or not, can rent or buy titles via the Prime Video Store, and can enjoy even more content for free with ads.

As a Prime Video technologist, you’ll have end-to-end ownership of the product, user experience, design, and technology required to deliver state-of-the-art experiences for our customers. • Key job responsibilities
• As a Sr. Product Manager - Tech and product leader in the Prime Video Ads team you will drive the vision, roadmap, and new feature requirements that power Prime Video Ads supply side tech.

• You will:
• Lead the development and execution of a bold customer-focused product strategy and vision.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, science, legal, operations, and business stakeholders, to define and execute a product roadmap.
• Work across external vendors and industry bodies to be industry aware/influencing , but customer focused.
• Work back from our customers by learning from their feedback, measurements, and other data sources to identify pain points and ensure we are building the right features over time.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze metrics to measure the impact of addressable inventory, identify areas for improvement, and drive optimization.
• Work closely with engineering around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
• You will align your teams to take SMART goals that will establish and maintain Prime Video as the best ad-supported streaming service for viewers and advertisers.

Basic qualifications

• - Master's degree
• - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• - 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
• - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• - Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• - Experience managing technical products or online services
• - Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred qualifications

- Experience in an operational environment developing, fast-prototyping, piloting and launching analytic products
