J ob Description:

DTN is seeking a strategic, results-driven Senior Product Marketing Manager, Platform to own the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for our shared data and intelligence platform, with a focus on the Refined Fuels and Energy business.

As a private equity-backed B2B SaaS company, DTN delivers a portfolio of products supported by a common data foundation, integrations, APIs, and AI-powered capabilities. In this role, you will translate those technical capabilities into compelling value propositions that help customers understand the benefits of our integrated solutions and enable Sales to drive new business, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role with broad organizational visibility. You will collaborate closely with Product Management, Sales, Demand Generation, and Customer Success to develop consistent platform messaging, execute successful product launches, and strengthen DTN's competitive positioning.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Develop and maintain the positioning and messaging framework for DTN's shared data platform, AI capabilities, and integrations, ensuring consistency across product lines, campaigns, and customer-facing teams.
  • Create compelling cross-product and bundled solution messaging that communicates the value of DTN's integrated platform and supports cross-sell and expansion opportunities.
  • Translate technical capabilities, including embedded AI/ML, data assets, APIs, and integrations, into clear customer benefits and credible, differentiated business outcomes.
  • Lead go-to-market strategy and execution for platform-level launches, including new data assets, APIs, integrations, and AI features, from positioning and launch planning through enablement and post-launch measurement.
  • Develop and maintain buyer personas and use cases for business buyers and technical evaluators, incorporating customer interviews, win/loss analysis, and competitive intelligence.
  • Partner with Sales to develop platform-focused enablement materials, including demo narratives, one-pagers, competitive battlecards, objection handling, ROI messaging, and sales talk tracks.
  • Measure the adoption and effectiveness of sales enablement materials and refine messaging based on field feedback and commercial results.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Content teams to develop case studies, reference architectures, and customer proof points that demonstrate platform value.
  • Provide market and customer insights to inform product strategy, competitive positioning, and go-to-market priorities.
  • Track the effectiveness of platform marketing initiatives through adoption, pipeline contribution, multi-product attach rates, and competitive win rates.

What You Will Bring to the Position

  • 3–5 years of product marketing experience, ideally within a B2B SaaS organization offering multiple products or a significant platform component.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear, differentiated, customer-facing messaging, supported by relevant writing samples.
  • Experience leading cross-functional product launches, delivering on schedule, and measuring post-launch performance.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret product usage reports, pipeline dashboards, and other business data to develop actionable recommendations.
  • Working knowledge of modern data and AI concepts, with the ability to collaborate credibly with Product and Engineering and validate technical marketing claims.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling narratives for both business and technical audiences.
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with demonstrated success driving initiatives across teams without direct reporting authority.

What Will Make You Stand Out

  • Experience marketing APIs, developer platforms, data products, or technically complex SaaS solutions.
  • Background in the Refined Fuels, Energy, or related industries.
  • Experience working in an established or startup SaaS organization.
  • Experience experimenting with AI-enabled marketing tools such as Jasper, Claude Co-Work, and Perplexity.
  • Exposure to analyst relations, pricing and packaging, or partner/ISV marketing.

What You Can Expect from DTN

  • Competitive Salary
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Flexible working hours
  • Remote work model (position dependent)
  • Competitive Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Plans
  • 6% 401K matching
  • Unlimited access to 13k+ courses via learning platform to support employee career advancement
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
