The IoT Product & Test Engineering team is a collaborative and fast-growing organization responsible for bringing these complex semiconductor products from first silicon through high-volume manufacturing. Partnering closely with Design, Validation, Quality, Manufacturing, and Marketing, the team develops advanced hardware and software test solutions, drives silicon characterization and qualification, and ensures every product meets the highest standards for quality, performance, and manufacturability.

As a Senior Product Test Engineer , you'll play a critical role in developing the production test strategies that enable the successful launch of next-generation wireless SoCs and MCU products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop production test solutions for advanced wireless SoCs and MCU products used during design validation and high-volume manufacturing.
  • Design and develop hardware and software for automated test equipment (ATE) to characterize and validate new devices.
  • Drive silicon characterization, reliability qualification, and statistical analysis to ensure product performance and quality.
  • Develop stress test hardware and methodologies to support product qualification.
  • Partner closely with Design, Validation, Manufacturing, Quality, and Marketing teams to accelerate new product introductions.
  • Analyze test data to improve yield, optimize test coverage, reduce manufacturing cost, and resolve production issues.
  • Support customer quality initiatives and drive continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Deliver test solutions that meet aggressive development schedules from prototype evaluation through manufacturing release.
  • Develop and test highly integrated mixed-signal devices including wireless RF circuitry, microcontrollers, embedded Flash memory, sensors, ADCs, DACs, LDOs, PLLs, DC-DC converters, and other analog and mixed-signal circuits.

Skills You'll Need

BS MS EE/ CE, or a related field with 4+ years of Product Test Engineering experience in the semiconductor industry.

  • Experience developing production test solutions for mixed-signal, RF, or MCU-based ICs.
  • Hands-on experience with industry automated test equipment (ATE) platforms such as Teradyne J750, Teradyne Ultra FLEX.
  • Programming experience with C/C++, Python, assembly language, or scripting languages such as Perl or Visual Basic.
  • Working knowledge of MCU architectures and mixed-signal and/or RF systems.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB design.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis, yield improvement, and process control.
  • Proficiency using data analysis tools such as Minitab, Silicon Dash, or similar.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debug skills across silicon, hardware, software, and production test environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with embedded Flash technologies.

  • Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) from first silicon through production release.
  • Passion for developing innovative semiconductor products in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment.

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $102,550 - $190,450 USD. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location where work will be performed and applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus, equity package and a comprehensive benefits package.
