Who we are
We are Fluxon, a product development team founded by ex-Googlers and startup founders. We offer full-cycle software development from ideation and design to build and go-to-market. We partner with visionary companies, ranging from fast-growing startups to tech leaders like Google and Stripe, to turn bold ideas into products with the power to transform the world.
Many of our team members call the Bay Area home, but this role is fully remote across North America.
About the role
As a Senior Program Manager, you will manage complex, high-impact technical initiatives that drive innovation, scalability, and operational excellence across a diverse portfolio of projects for Fluxon clients.
In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for clients and partner closely with Engineering, Product, Project Management, Design, and senior leadership to define strategy, oversee execution, and ensure the successful delivery of large-scale technical programs. You will operate at the intersection of technology, business, and execution, translating ambiguous challenges into actionable plans and aligning cross-functional teams around shared objectives.
The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise, strong business judgment, exceptional communication skills, and proven leadership skills. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority, and driving measurable outcomes across multiple teams and organizations.
Key responsibilities
Manage complex, large-scale technical programs spanning multiple development teams, products, and organizations
Oversee the overall program portfolio, managing timelines, dependencies, risks, resources, and critical blockers to ensure successful outcomes
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and executive stakeholders, managing expectations, communicating progress, and driving alignment
Partner with senior leaders to navigate challenges, evaluate technical trade-offs, and drive informed decisions
Translate complex technical concepts into business implications, facilitating strategic discussions and cross-functional collaboration
Drive accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement to ensure high-quality, predictable delivery
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in technical program management within software engineering or other highly technical environments
Proven experience leading large-scale, cross-functional technical programs involving multiple product development teams and senior stakeholders
Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, system architecture, artificial intelligence, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and modern engineering practices
Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with senior leaders, evaluate technical trade-offs, and navigate complex challenges in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills, with the ability to influence executive-level decisions and drive measurable outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in Mag 7, FAANG or high-growth / startup environment is preferred
Experience managing complex technical programs in a client-facing, consulting, or professional services environment
