We have an exciting new opportunity to join Edelman Argentina as a Senior Public Affairs Director!

We currently operate under a hybrid work model , with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely.

📍 Our office is located in Palermo, Buenos Aires.

Below, you will find the key responsibilities and requirements for this position.

Responsibilities

• •Lead and develop public affairs strategies aligned with our clients' business objectives.
• •Provide strategic counsel on regulatory, political, and reputational matters.
• •Monitor the political and regulatory landscape, identifying emerging trends and delivering actionable insights to clients.
• •Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, regulatory authorities, and other key stakeholders.
• •Contribute to new business development initiatives and the growth of existing client accounts.
• •Oversee project execution, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to deadlines.
• •Manage multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating effectively with internal teams.
• •Support the development of integrated communications strategies and campaigns.
• •Foster a collaborative working environment, demonstrating sound judgment, strategic thinking, and a results-oriented mindset.

Requirements

• •At least 10 years of experience in public affairs, government relations, or strategic communications.
• •Previous experience in agencies, the public sector, corporate environments, or consulting firms.
• •Strong understanding of Argentina's political, institutional, and regulatory landscape.
• •Proven experience in client relationship management and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• •Interest or experience in business development, commercial initiatives, and account growth.
• •Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Communications, International Relations, Law, or a related field.
• •Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• •Ability to thrive in dynamic environments and work collaboratively across teams.
• •Advanced (fluent) English proficiency, both written and spoken.
