  • Your Responsibilities: Take technical ownership of the reliable and
  • stable operation of AI-powered applications in production Monitor
  • application health and investigate incidents using logs, metrics,
  • alerts, and distributed traces Assess the technical impact and
  • business implications of production issues and coordinate their
  • resolution from initial analysis through closure Perform root cause
  • analyses across the entire application stack, including Python
  • backends, React frontends, REST APIs, databases, system integrations,
  • and application configurations Read, review, debug, maintain, and
  • continuously improve existing Python codebases Develop and deploy bug
  • fixes, hotfixes, and technical improvements through established
  • testing, peer-review, and CI/CD processes Troubleshoot end-to-end
  • application flows, including frontend-backend interactions,
  • data-processing pipelines, AI integrations, and external dependencies
  • Implement smaller bug fixes and enhancements in React and TypeScript
  • where required Distinguish application-level issues from platform or
  • infrastructure failures and collaborate closely with the responsible
  • engineering teams Improve application logging, monitoring, alerting,
  • error handling, resilience, performance, and overall observability
  • Maintain application dependencies and support configuration, security,
  • and version updates Develop automated unit and integration tests for
  • bug fixes and technical improvements Implement sustainable corrective
  • measures to prevent recurring production issues Maintain technical
  • documentation, operational runbooks, and troubleshooting guidelines
  • Support knowledge transfer, go-live activities, hypercare phases, and
  • the transition into regular operations Communicate technical status,
  • risks, workarounds, and resolution progress clearly to the AI Service
  • Manager and relevant stakeholders Automate recurring operational,
  • monitoring, and diagnostic activities What You Bring: 5+ years of
  • professional experience in Python backend development, including the
  • design, maintenance, debugging, and optimization of production-grade
  • applications Strong expertise in Python technologies and frameworks
  • such as FastAPI, Flask, asynchronous programming, object-oriented
  • development, REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, OAuth2, JWT, PostgreSQL,
  • SQLAlchemy, and SQL Proven experience working with complex codebases,
  • performing root cause analysis, resolving production incidents, and
  • delivering sustainable solutions in business-critical environments
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing, Git-based development
  • workflows, code reviews, and modern software engineering best
  • practices Strong background in cloud-native and distributed
  • applications, including Docker, CI/CD pipelines, application
  • monitoring, logging, alerting, observability, and production
  • deployments Experience with AWS services such as ECS/Fargate,
  • CloudWatch, S3, load balancing, and queue-based architectures;
  • Infrastructure-as-Code experience (e.g., Terraform) is considered an
  • advantage Solid understanding of AI-powered applications, including
  • LLM integrations, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings,
  • vector databases, document processing, AI agents, tool calling, and
  • multi-step orchestration workflows Experience integrating AI and LLM
  • services through APIs and investigating AI-specific production issues
  • related to model behavior, retrieval quality, latency, context
  • limitations, and external dependencies Familiarity with Azure OpenAI,
  • LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar AI application frameworks
  • is a plus Understanding of frontend-backend interactions with the
  • ability to troubleshoot through browser developer tools, API traces,
  • and application logs; basic React and TypeScript knowledge is
  • beneficial Experience working with enterprise integrations and
  • platforms such as SAP, SAP Gateway, EDI, Snowflake, or comparable
  • enterprise environments is advantageous Proven ability to work
  • independently within complex system landscapes and collaborate
  • effectively with backend, frontend, cloud, platform, data, AI, and
  • business teams Successfully completed vocational training, a
  • university degree, or equivalent practical experience in a relevant
  • technical field Fluent English communication skills, both written and
  • spoken Strong sense of ownership, analytical thinking, and
  • problem-solving capabilities, combined with a structured, pragmatic,
  • and service-oriented approach Ability to communicate complex technical
  • topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and to
  • work effectively across backend, frontend, AI, cloud, data, and
