Our employee-owned, multi-disciplined team of engineering and design professionals is looking for a Senior Professional Electrical Engineer with deep expertise in technical design standards for industrial facility and site electrical systems. You'll work alongside Architectural, Civil, Mechanical, and Structural professionals on a wide range of industrial projects across the country.
In this role, you'll scope and lead the electrical engineering side of projects, developing site plans, power/signal/lighting plans, equipment layouts, one-lines, industrial controls, assessments, and reports. You'll also support construction administration, interpreting plans, observing construction, and confirming everything conforms to plans, specs, and schedule. With your experience, you'll also have the chance to mentor less experienced team members and help develop the next generation of engineers on our team.
You'll lead engineering and design teams, owning the technical, quality, financial, and safety aspects of projects from concept through construction. With our "Seller-Doer" approach, you'll also partner with electrical group management and the VP of Facilities Engineering Services on proposal development, client relationships, opportunity tracking, and client presentations.
Flexible work arrangement: 3 days in office (Tuesday - Thursday), 2 days WFH (Monday and Friday)
Location: Preferably Bloomington, MN, but a TKDA office in Milwaukee, Downers Grove, Seattle, or Duluth also work.
