The Surgical Robotics Clinical Specialist plays one of the most important roles within RST at Medtronic, supporting our customers during the launch, development and expansion of their surgical robotics programs. The RCS manages the end-to-end integration, operational readiness, clinical adoption and growth of the Robotic-Assisted Surgery (RAS) system. The team supports system installation and start-up, customer and clinical training, account assessment, workflow optimization, and the transition toward a sustainable, scalable and high-performing robotic program.
In this role as an RCS, you will be responsible for the successful integration of the RAS system in hospitals across Australia and New Zealand. This may involve managing implementation of new robotic programs and digital surgery solutions or expanding existing robotic surgery programs. Collaborate with broader Medtronic teams to identify and advance opportunities that support the development and expansion of robotic surgery programs while contributing to broader Medtronic business objectives.
- Support the standardisation and optimisation of operating room workflows, team roles, room set-up, inventory planning, case preparation processes, and procedural readiness activities.
