This is a hands-on sales management role, accountable for delivering revenue outcomes and execution against agreed plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

01 Revenue Strategy & Target Achievement

  • Execute the APAC sales strategy across Direct and Channel Sales for the full Sarder portfolio.
  • Deliver the annual $3M revenue target, supported by clear monthly and quarterly operating plans.
  • Build market, account, territory and segment strategies that consistently deliver against revenue commitments.
  • Drive enterprise sales, strategic accounts, pipeline creation, deal progression and closure.

02 Sales Operations & Operational Rigour

  • Establish and maintain clear sales metrics, KPIs and KRIs across the sales organisation, and keep them on track.
  • Create an operating cadence around pipeline, forecast, conversion, productivity, target achievement and key risk indicators.
  • Ensure end-to-end CRM hygiene, accurate opportunity management, forecasting and sales process adherence.
  • Identify process gaps and implement corrective actions to improve sales productivity and predictability.

03 Team Leadership, Coaching & Sales Enablement

  • Lead, coach and develop sales representatives across brands and markets.
  • Lead from the front, actively supporting teams on strategic deals, account planning, negotiations and execution.
  • Build product, market and sales capability across the portfolio brands.
  • Equip managers to manage performance, remove blockers and align people, process and revenue outcomes.
  • Establish a culture of accountability, performance and continuous improvement.

04 Enterprise & Direct Sales Leadership

  • Manage enterprise and strategic direct sales opportunities across APAC.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with enterprise customers and decision-makers.
  • Lead complex sales cycles, commercial negotiations, proposals and closures.
  • Ensure disciplined movement from prospecting through qualification, opportunity management, closure and handover.

05 Channel & Partner Sales Leadership

  • Execute the APAC channel sales plan and drive partner revenue contribution.
  • Develop, manage and scale distributors, resellers, strategic partners and other channel relationships.
  • Set partner performance expectations, with clear pipeline visibility, enablement and revenue accountability.
  • Balance direct and channel motions based on market opportunity and commercial outcomes.

06 Marketing & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Partner closely with Marketing to optimise the full funnel, from top-of-funnel demand generation through qualified pipeline, meetings, opportunities and revenue.
  • Translate sales feedback into actionable marketing priorities, campaigns and market programmes.
  • Collaborate with RevOps, Product, Customer Success, Finance, HR and other functions to remove execution bottlenecks and improve revenue outcomes.
  • Keep people, process and revenue priorities aligned across functions.

07 Technology, Automation & Revenue Governance

  • Ensure the sales technology stack is fully utilised across teams and brands.
  • Identify opportunities for workflow automation, process redesign and technology-led productivity improvement.
  • Drive adoption of CRM, reporting, sales enablement and automation tools across the organisation.
  • Maintain sales governance, execution quality, performance visibility and revenue outcomes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8–12 years of overall sales experience, with international market experience and demonstrated APAC exposure.
  • Proven enterprise sales leadership experience (mandatory), with a strong B2B background.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering multi-million-dollar revenue targets.
  • Experience managing monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and operating cadences.
  • Experience managing and coaching a B2B sales team; experience managing 5+ direct reports is preferred.
  • Strong experience in sales strategy, pipeline management, forecasting, CRM discipline and sales operations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams hands-on, coach managers and drive accountability.
  • Ability to work effectively across functions in a high-growth, high-accountability environment.
  • Based in Bangalore and comfortable working from the office.

PREFERRED / ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in technology, SaaS, AI, EdTech, certification, training or professional services.
  • Channel, distributor or partner-sales experience.
