Senior Scientist: Bispecifics and Antibody Engineering

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Scientist to join our Antibody Engineering team within the Bispecifics and Antibody Engineering Department, designing, producing, and characterizing next-generation antibody and protein therapeutics across multiple therapeutic areas with a focus on myeloid cell biology. In this role, your work will directly contribute to the pipeline and help build new platform capabilities at a pivotal time for antibody engineering.

Discover your role:

• •Apply molecular and structural biology expertise to independently design innovative multi-specific antibodies with desired potency, selectivity, and developability
• •Perform molecular and structural-guided design, high-throughput construct generation, and vector engineering using modern software and tools
• •Produce and purify novel and logic-gated alternative format antibodies using mammalian expression systems and chromatographic techniques (e.g., AKTA systems)
• •Characterize binding affinities, binding kinetics, and stability
• •Design and implement high-throughput biochemical and cell-based assays (e.g., ELISA, AlphaLISA, flow cytometry binding, phagocytic assays, cell activation, and cytolytic assays)
• •Troubleshoot bioanalytical and cell-based assay data to inform subsequent iterations
• •Communicate biologic designs and data updates to program stakeholders to meet program objectives
• •Maintain timely, accurate records using Benchling and research ELN, and clearly convey results during cross-departmental meetings

This role requires:

• •Ph.D. in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, immunology, or a related field, with at least 1 year of relevant experience in academia or industry
• •Expertise in myeloid, molecular, and protein biology
• •Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
• •Ability to quickly learn new skills and troubleshoot antibody production and functional assays effectively
• •Preferred: hands-on experience with cloning, antibody expression in mammalian cell lines, antibody purification (e.g., using AKTA systems), and comprehensive protein characterization
• •Preferred: familiarity with cell-free expression and structural AI/ML-based design
