Responsibilities

Define technical strategy for execution of large software programs (technical blueprints, design, interfaces, capability needs)

Communicate to senior management & customers to align software strategy with internal roadmaps and customer needs

Mentor engineering & development teams, perform design & code reviews

Closely collaborate with hardware development teams to develop test procedures, deploy software, & evaluate embedded performance

Evaluate & select tools, programming languages, frameworks

Manage technical & programmatic risk – prototype designs, develop mitigation strategies, communicate risks

Assure software meets standards & requirements for quality, reliability, performance, security, & usability

Required Qualifications

BA/BS in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering

10+ years experience with software development on DoW/IC programs

5+ years experience with OPIR missions on DoW/IC programs

TS/SCI eligibility

Experience with Python and C/C++

Experience with embedded software development

Preferred Qualifications

MA/MS in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering

Experience with Rust

Experience with FPGA architectures

Experience with AI/ML/agent workflows

Experience with detection & tracking algorithms
