Analyzes, designs, develops, modifies, writes, edits, and implements software programming applications. Performs other projects and duties as assigned.

• Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
• · Analyzes and defines software requirements to determine specifications and standards.
• · Proposes software solutions.
• · Determines the cost of new and modified systems, and engages in the proposal process.
• · Develops, designs, and edits original applications, or modifies third-party applications.
• · Tests and approves applications.
• · Trains users, and writes training manuals.
• · Manages user support and feedback.
• · May specialize in one or more areas of development, including network, operating systems, databases, or applications.
• · Troubleshoots cloud issues/failures and resolves alerts and performs remediation activities.
• · Develop sound and trusted relationships with internal and external customers by providing accurate and efficient technical/engineering support and updates.
• · Professionally represent security interactions with internal and external customers and business partners as required.
• · Keep technically current with the industry standards with a strong ability to perform IT research about new technologies.
• · Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity.

• Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
• · Advanced proficiency in a modern programming language, such as Python, JavaScript, Java, .NET/C#.
• · Managing, monitoring, configuring, and troubleshooting.
• · Specific demonstrated experience mapping business processes and comparing those processes to industry best practices.
• · Proficiency in scripting of deployments.
• · Demonstrated experience in a Development or Systems Engineer
• · Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
• · Demonstrated project management experience.
• · Working knowledge of ITIL v3 framework (certification preferred).
• · Ability to self-manage and prioritize multiple projects with aggressive due dates.
• · Excellent understanding of network, system and application security.

• Industry and Work Experience:
• · 6+ years of experience in progressively complex IT technical roles within an enterprise environment.

• Academic:
• · Bachelor’s Degree required.
