Where You'll Work

Hybrid: This is a hybrid role based in Denver, CO with the expectations to be in office at least 3 days a week for collaboration and connection.

In this role, you will shape the architecture, technical direction, and delivery of products that legal professionals around the world rely on every day. You’ll partner closely with Product, Design, Engineering leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders to turn business goals into scalable, secure, high-quality solutions. Your leadership will improve customer outcomes and engineering effectiveness while advancing Litera’s AI-first technology strategy. What You'll Bring

Must-Haves:

• •5–7+ years of software engineering experience delivering complex, production-scale applications and SaaS products.
• •Strong full-stack expertise building applications, APIs, and cloud-based solutions with modern technologies such as C#/.NET, React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• •An AI-first mindset with familiarity using GenAI tools.
• •Experience providing technical leadership through architecture decisions, code reviews, engineering standards, and mentoring.
• •Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and scalable system design.
• •Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with a track record of driving results in fast-paced environments
• •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Haves:

• •Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, distributed systems, and other modern design patterns.
• •Familiarity with legal technology, professional services software, data analytics platforms, or other complex B2B SaaS environments.
• •Experience leading distributed teams or operating high-availability cloud applications.
• •Experience implementing secure development practices or driving quality through observability and test automation tools.

• Pay Transparency for Colorado Applicants
• The base salary range for this role is $145,000 to $165,000 USD. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, education, and other relevant qualifications. This role is also eligible to participate in a company bonus plan. In addition to base salary, Litera offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, and incentive and recognition programs. Benefits are subject to eligibility requirements.
