Senior Software Engineer – Automation

Build and maintain mission-critical software applications as a Senior Software Engineer, where your technical expertise directly powers resilient, scalable solutions. This role sits within a dynamic engineering team responsible for developing, automating, and optimizing applications across multiple platforms. You will combine strong coding skills with sharp analytical thinking to deliver robust software and resolve complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• •Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications using Python and .NET to deliver reliable, high-performing solutions.
• •Automate routine tasks and workflows through PowerShell scripting to improve operational efficiency.
• •Manage job scheduling and dependencies using Autosys to ensure smooth, uninterrupted processing.
• •Collaborate with team members using Git for version control, supporting clean and coordinated code delivery.
• •Design, implement, and optimize database solutions with Sybase to support application performance.
• •Deploy and manage applications across AWS cloud and virtual machine infrastructure.
• •Work with OpenShift to manage containerized applications and orchestration.
• •Support the QA cycle to help ensure application quality before release.
• •Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues to maintain system stability.
• •Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• •6+ years of total experience.
• •Demonstrated experience with Python, C#, and Java programming languages.
• •Hands-on expertise with .NET and Java frameworks for application development.
• •Practical knowledge of PowerShell scripting for task automation.
• •Experience managing job scheduling and dependencies with Autosys.
• •Proficiency with Git for version control in a collaborative development environment.
• •Skilled in designing and optimizing database solutions using Sybase.
• •Working knowledge of OpenShift and virtual machine infrastructure for container orchestration.
• •Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for investigating and resolving technical issues.
