Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence . As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Admin Tooling team within Cloud Customer Experience (CCX). The CCX organization is at the forefront of delivering a best-in-class user experience for both internal and external users of our AI-focused cloud platform.

The Admin Tooling team owns the foundations of internal tooling to provide a secure, reliable, self-service platform that enables internal teams to move fast without giving up the governance and auditing our customers expect.

Crusoe's internal tooling requirements continue to evolve rapidly alongside the growth of the business. As a founding member of the Admin Tooling team you will be responsible for contributing to the product and technical vision for internal tooling across the company.

What You'll Be Working On:

Partner Cross-Functionally : Work closely with Product and Design, Developer Experience, Security and Customer Success teams to understand bottlenecks across the company and propose new processes and software solutions to address them.

Drive Architectural Vision & Strategy : Own the end-to-end technical roadmap for the admin tooling stack. This includes AuthN and AuthZ systems, API and microservice design, and client interfaces including Web, CLI and MCP.

Own Critical Systems : Maintain and extend existing internal tools that enable customer interactions, complex datacenter operations and other business-critical functions.

Mentor and Lead : Set team engineering practices, drive design reviews, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers to build a high-performing engineering culture.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

Professional Experience: 5+ years of software development experience, including programming with modern compiled languages such as Go, Rust, Java, or C++. Our services are primarily written in Go.

Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to talk directly with end users, empathize with their problems and align on a solution that is technically sound and solves those problems.

Bias to Action: A proven track record of quickly and efficiently understanding problems and delivering software to address those problems.

System Design: Proven ability to design and scale fault-tolerant distributed systems and develop managed cloud services.

Observability and Reliability: Experience defining SLOs, instrumenting services with metrics, logs, and traces, and using that signal to debug production issues.

Bonus Points

Experience with RBAC/Permissioning systems

Experience with TypeScript/React
