We seek an experienced Senior Software Engineer – Frontend (Angular + Java) to join the Platform Engineering Team at our Bengaluru office, to drive the development of intuitive, secure, and high-performance user interfaces for our core banking and financial platforms. This role involves working on complex, data-intensive applications and collaborating closely with the Backend, Product, and Domain teams to deliver seamless digital banking experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• •Design and develop scalable, responsive web applications for Aura’s Core Banking and digital platforms
• •Translate complex banking workflows into intuitive and user-friendly interfaces
• •Lead frontend architecture and design decisions across modules
• •Build reusable UI components and standardize frontend practices across teams
• •Integrate frontend applications with microservices-based backend systems
• •Ensure high performance, security, and reliability of applications
• •Implement secure coding practices for handling sensitive financial data
• •Collaborate with product managers, architects, and QA teams in an Agile environment
• •Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
• •Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Technical Skills Required

• •Strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3
• •Deep experience with Angular (preferred) or similar modern frontend frameworks
• •Strong proficiency in Java (8+) with solid backend understanding
• •Experience working with Java-based frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Apache Wicket)
• •Strong experience with state management (NgRx, Redux, Context API)
• •Solid understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and RxJS
• •Experience building scalable, high-performance applications
• •Hands-on with build tools (Webpack, Vite, Angular CLI, NPM)
• •Strong knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern dev workflows
• •Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• •Good understanding of web performance optimization techniques
• •Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG)
