Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team and help build high-impact web interfaces that integrate with our flight safety platform. In this role, you will work closely with senior engineers, product managers, and designers to develop user-facing features that enable interaction with complex aviation data. You’ll contribute to production systems, grow your technical skills, and play a meaningful role in advancing flight safety and operational efficiency.
What You’ll Do
Design and implement React-based features for web applications that work with real-time and historical aviation data.
Integrate, process, and visualize data from multiple sources, including live streams and archived datasets.
Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and UX/UI designers on feature design and implementation.
Contribute to code reviews and follow established frontend best practices and architectural patterns.
Help ensure frontend systems are reliable and maintainable through testing and documentation.
Contribute to reusable components and shared frontend libraries.
What Will Make You Successful
5+ years of experience building user-facing web applications, or equivalent experience through internships, projects, or coursework.
Experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, state management, and modern web standards (HTML/CSS).
Familiarity with asynchronous frontend patterns and working with APIs or data streams.
Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn from feedback and mentorship.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
Attention to code quality, performance, and maintainability.
Bonus Points
Passion for aviation and a desire to improve air travel efficiency and safety.
Experience with mapping or geospatial tools such as Mapbox or Cesium.
Exposure to live data or video streaming concepts.
