Senior Software Engineer (Java, Agentic AI, Cloud)

Your role

You will design and build modern software solutions primarily using Java and its ecosystem , applying strong software engineering practices and making effective use of agentic AI throughout the software development lifecycle .

You will work with modern architectures, APIs and distributed systems, integrating solutions with cloud services where appropriate. Depending on the project, you may also build or integrate GenAI capabilities such as LLM-based applications, AI agents and RAG .

You’ll contribute to solutions from design and implementation through production, working closely with architects, product teams and security. You can expect real influence on technical decisions, a quality-driven engineering environment and practical use of AI tools to improve development effectiveness.

Your tasks

• •design and develop high-quality Java applications and services , usign agentic software engineering practices;
• •design APIs, integrations and distributed components for enterprise environments;
• •apply AI-assisted software engineering practices across the SDLC, including coding, testing, code review, documentation and engineering productivity;
• •build or integrate GenAI capabilities , including LLM-based applications, AI agents, RAG, vector search and enterprise AI services, depending on project needs;
• •design solutions that can run effectively in modern cloud environments , using appropriate cloud services, containers and CI/CD;
• •lead technical implementations from PoC/MVP through to production, working closely with architects and other engineering teams;
• •collaborate with Architecture, Data/AI and Security teams to ensure quality, performance, maintainability and security;
• •share engineering knowledge through code reviews, mentoring and technical discussions.

Your profile

• •a technical degree or equivalent professional experience and a strong foundation in software engineering;
• •strong hands-on experience in Java development and its modern ecosystem (e.g. Spring / Spring Boot);
• •solid understanding of software architecture, APIs, distributed systems, testing and software engineering best practices;
• •practical experience using AI-assisted development tools and practices as part of the software development lifecycle;
• •understanding of Generative AI and LLM-based solutions , and willingness to further develop in this area. Hands-on experience with AI agents, RAG, vector search, LLM integration or enterprise AI services is a plus;
• •practical knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, AWS or GCP) and modern application delivery. You don't need to be a Cloud Engineer, but you should be comfortable developing software for the cloud;
• •experience with CI/CD and modern development workflows; Docker/Kubernetes knowledge is a plus;
• •understanding of security, data protection and software quality in enterprise applications;
• •fluent English at B2 level or above;
• •experience with technical leadership, mentoring or workshops is a plus.
