What success looks like in this role:

An ideal candidate should have strong experience in Java, Python, AWS Cloud, Microservices, and Data Engineering. The candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting cloud-native applications, REST APIs, event-driven services, and data processing pipelines on AWS.

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Java/Python-based applications and Microservices
Build and support cloud-native solutions on AWS
Develop REST APIs and event-driven integrations
Design and implement Elasticsearch/OpenSearch solutions, including document indexing, upserts, and complex Bool Query-based search
Build and optimize PySpark/Glue ETL jobs
Deploy and manage containerized applications on EKS
Participate in code reviews, production support, and technical discussions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Required Skills:

Strong programming experience in Java and Python
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot , REST APIs, and Microservices
Experience with PySpark and AWS Glue for data processing
Strong knowledge of AWS services including API Gateway, Lambda, S3, Kinesis, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, and SSM
Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch , including Bool Queries, document indexing/upserts, and Kibana
Experience with PostgreSQL
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (Amazon EKS)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile development practices
Good problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

You will be successful in this role if you have:

BA/BS degree and 7-10 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
