Position Summary

We’re looking for a Senior Sourcing Specialist to be our key sourcing presence in the UK, working as part of our wider global Procurement team. You’ll have the autonomy to lead sourcing activity across a broad range of indirect categories, while collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders internationally.

From shaping sourcing strategies and running competitive tenders to negotiating contracts and building strong supplier relationships, you’ll have the opportunity to influence how we buy, who we partner with and where we can create greater value for the business.

This is a great opportunity if you enjoy working independently, building strong stakeholder relationships and having genuine ownership of your sourcing activity, while still having the support and connection of an established global Procurement team.

Please note: This role is based in our Manchester office and requires 4 days per week onsite. We’re unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position, so applicants will need to already have the right to work in the UK.

We're looking for people who share our values:

Dare to be Bold - We bring courage to work every day and aim for the extraordinary.

Uphold Integrity - We act with accountability, respect, and honesty in everything we do.

Never Settle - We continuously challenge ourselves to improve and innovate.

Celebrate Perspectives - We value diverse thinking and different viewpoints.

Win as a Team - We support one another and succeed together.

What You'll Do

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activity across indirect spend categories, including IT and software, professional services, facilities, marketing, travel and contingent labour.
  • Develop sourcing and category strategies that support business needs and commercial objectives.
  • Manage competitive RFI, RFP and RFQ processes, from requirements and market analysis through to evaluation and supplier selection.
  • Negotiate pricing, commercial terms and contracts to achieve the best balance of cost, quality, service and risk.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements, build business cases and translate needs into clear sourcing specifications.
  • Use spend analysis, market research and should-cost analysis to identify savings and wider value opportunities.
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance through KPIs, SLAs and regular business reviews, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with Legal, Finance, Information Security and Data Protection teams on contracts, due diligence and supplier risk.
  • Support supplier onboarding and help improve the Source-to-Purchase Order (S2P) process.
  • Track and report sourcing activity, savings, performance and pipeline through procurement systems and dashboards.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, ideally with strong exposure to indirect categories.
  • A track record of running competitive sourcing and tender processes and delivering measurable commercial value.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing and communication skills, with the confidence to work with senior stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of commercial contracts, supplier risk management and relevant UK procurement legislation.
  • Experience managing multiple sourcing projects, priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently within a global, cross-functional environment.
  • Good knowledge of supply chain, sourcing and category management principles and best practices.

Qualifications

A degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering or a related discipline.

How You'll Grow

  • Build your expertise across a broad range of indirect sourcing categories and complex commercial negotiations.
  • Develop your strategic procurement capability by influencing sourcing decisions and partnering with stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Gain broader exposure to supplier strategy, risk management and continuous improvement within a global business.

What Can We Offer You?

  • Annual performance bonus
  • 25 days' plus bank holidays rising to 30 days after 2 years’ service
  • 1 day paid leave to work on charitable projects
  • Half Day for Health, encouraging you to take time away for you and your wellbeing
  • Up to 8% employer pension contributions
  • A reward platform offering cycle to work, shopping and lifestyle discounts/cashback
  • Remote GP access alongside a wellbeing platform
  • Private Medical Insurance
  • Elective benefits including Tastecard, travel insurance, dental insurance and Give As You Earn
  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)

Please note, we are unable to sponsor visas at this time. If you require visa sponsorship now or in the future, we will not be able to progress with your application.
