Job Summary

• The Transaction Accountant forms part of the Active Portfolio Management team within PPB and supports the execution of portfolio optimisation initiatives, including portfolio sales, securitisations and other structured transactions.
• The role helps ensure transactions are financially sound, operationally practical and appropriately reflected from an accounting and reporting perspective.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• •Assess the financial and accounting implications of structured finance transactions.
• •Support transaction execution and implementation activities.
• •Engage with Finance, Technical Accounting, Treasury and operational stakeholders.
• •Contribute to reporting, analysis and governance requirements.
• •Support the review of transaction performance and risks.
• •Assist with the development of structuring and transaction management capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience

• •CA(SA).
• •Experience in financial services, finance, corporate finance, treasury or related environments would be advantageous.
• •Must have a minimum of 5 years financial services experience
