Senior Staff Engineer - CFD/Thermal

We are looking for a Senior Staff Engineer - CFD/Thermal to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Sr. Director, Development Engineering.

Location: This position will be fully Onsite based in San Jose, CA

Role and Responsibilities:

• •Conduct CFD/Thermal studies for Energy server enclosures and site installations.
• •Provide regular guidance on enclosure thermal management for Product development, from concept to production.
• •Work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely inputs with accurate predictions.
• •Collaborate with Cross-functional teams for feasibility study.
• •Report and present results/recommendations across diverse groups.

Skills and Experience:

• •MS or PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace engineering.
• •Deep understanding of the fundamentals of Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer and CFD.
• •5+ years of industry experience utilizing CFD in Thermal management, in Electronics/Data center cooling.
• •Highly skilled in CFD tools: ANSYS Icepak(preferred)/Fluent/Flotherm.
• •Able to utilize first principles for quick calculations and CFD models.
• •Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a timely manner.
• •Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• •Self-starter and a quick learner.

Salary Ranges:

$151,700.00 - $218,300.00
