• POSITION DESCRIPTION
• Eutelsat Network Solutions is seeking a dedicated and growth-oriented Senior Systems Administrator to join our
• collaborative Technology team. Our mission is to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable technology services that empower the organization. In this role, you’ll support day-to-day operations by managing Microsoft 365 and Azure Gov Cloud environments, responding to helpdesk tickets, performing system patching, and maintaining configurations across hybrid systems. • ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• •Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 technical support and act as the primary escalation point for complex infrastructure,
• authentication, M365, access, and system-level issues.
• •Troubleshoot and resolve advanced user, system, and performance issues across hybrid environments.
• •Execute onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle management tasks across identity, applications, and devices.
• •Deploy, configure, and maintain hybrid server, storage, networking, and endpoint infrastructure across all sites.
• •Configure and deploy applications using centralized management tools such as Company Portal.
• •Develop, maintain, and optimize automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar technologies to
• streamline operational processes.
• •Manage, monitor, and validate backup, restore, and disaster recovery solutions for hybrid systems.
• •Perform regular system updates, patching cycles, and security hardening activities to maintain stability and
• compliance.
• •Support container deployments, updates, troubleshooting, and availability management.
• Lead infrastructure-related projects by translating requirements into technical solutions and coordinating execution
• across teams.
• •Implement, maintain, and continuously improve security policies and technical controls across cloud and on-prem
• environments.
• •Conduct ongoing security assessments, vulnerability remediation, and compliance validation alongside security and
• governance teams.
• •Coordinate with security and incident response teams on investigations, containment actions, and forensic efforts.
• •Implement and administer monitoring and observability solutions such as Azure Monitor and Zabbix.
• •Configure alerting and notification mechanisms to proactively identify system issues and performance degradation.
• •Analyze infrastructure performance metrics and execute optimization strategies to improve reliability, scalability,
• and efficiency.
• •Troubleshoot complex system-level failures and coordinate resolution efforts across cross-functional teams.
• •Maintain accurate system documentation, architectural diagrams, and runbooks to support operational continuity.
• •Participate in all phases of the infrastructure lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, deployment,
• testing, integration, cutover, and ongoing maintenance.
• •Configure and deploy hardware, including servers, storage, networking, and endpoint devices at all organizational
• sites to support projects and operational needs.
• •Establishes and maintains cyber security posture for entrusted systems through application of sound cyber security
• engineering principles such as implementation of access control, utilization of least privilege principles, central
• authentication mechanism deployment, as well as following vendor recommendations.
• •Perform other job-related duties assigned by manager.

• QUALIFICATIONS
• Required Education & Experience:
• •Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
• •Minimum 6 years of relevant systems administration experience
• •Security+ CE certification or equivalent
• •Scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages
• •Knowledge of five or more of the following areas:
• o Windows Server 2019, 2022
• o Windows 11
• o Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
• o iDRAC and iLO
• o Docker
• o Enterprise networking
• o Endpoint Security
• o Vulnerability remediation
• •Knowledge of five or more of the following cloud technologies:
• o Virtual Machines
• o vWAN, vHub, VNet, Subnets, WAF, Application Gateway
• o SharePoint
• o Exchange
• o Entra ID
• o Azure Virtual Desktop
• o Azure Update Manager
• o Key Vaults, Storage Accounts, and Managed Identities

• •Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities

• Preferred Qualifications
• •Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools (Zabbix, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)
• •Background in cybersecurity and compliance frameworks (NIST SP 800-171, CMMC 2.0, NIST SP 800-53, RMF)
• •Familiarity with secure baselines and hardening guidelines such as DISA STIGs and CIS Benchmarks
