Senior Systems Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Systems Analyst to join our team in Fidelity Institutional Technology (FIT). You will be working closely with product, architecture and engineering to support the evolution of shared platform services, APIs, and end-to-end workflows that enable the Custom Separately Managed Accounts (CSMA) business as part of the Common Platform Services team.

We seek a highly motivated and collaborative Senior Systems Analyst who can translate business needs into clear requirements and user stories, refine solutions, and support delivery across the full development lifecycle alongside a team of talented and enthusiastic engineers.

The Expertise We’re Looking For:

• •Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
• •Experience working on large software projects in the areas of requirements gathering, systems analysis and design.
• •Experience breaking down business requirements into clear user stories and refining them with engineering teams.
• •Experience using JIRA to manage and refine work, maintain backlogs, and support Agile delivery through JIRA boards.
• •Experience using tools like Bruno to run API requests and analyse responses
• •Experience with PostgreSQL and Snowflake databases, including good SQL skills for data validation and analysis.
• •Strong analytical skills to research and review existing systems and recommend designs
• •Experience working within an agile development environment.
• •Demonstrated analytical ability to assess existing systems , identify dependencies and risks, and recommend solution designs.
• •Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• •Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with developers, product leaders and multiple sister squads within the organization.
• •Financial Services industry experience preferred but not essential. Experience with investment management, managed accounts, or money movement is a plus.

Fidelity Institutional Technology (FIT) supports our business partners to excel in their respective markets. We strive to achieve this by meticulously crafting, building, and up keeping the software, technological infrastructure and products within Fidelity’s Institutional (FI) business units. Embedded within FIT, is the CSMA area, which is dedicated to building workflows, digital experiences and APIs to support the ongoing efforts to increase fidelity’s market share of Custom Separately Managed Accounts. As a vital member of this dynamic team, your role within FIT will focus on contributing to the analysis and design within the team.
