Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

• •Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of critical server, network, and storage infrastructure in both on-premise and cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
• •Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Ansible) to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency.
• •Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, often involving multi-vendor technologies, ensuring minimal downtime and impact.
• •Collaborate with development teams to ensure infrastructure scalability and support for new applications and services.
• •Participate in on-call rotation and provide expert-level support for production systems outside of standard business hours.
• •Conduct performance monitoring, capacity planning, and system tuning to optimize resource utilization and user experience.
• •Implement and enforce security best practices, compliance standards, and disaster recovery procedures.
• •Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
• •Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to enhance system capabilities and reduce operational costs.
• •Document system configurations, procedures, and architectural designs thoroughly.

Job Qualifications

• •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• •4+ years of experience in the role or a related field.
• •Deep expertise in Windows Server and Linux operating systems (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu), including administration, troubleshooting, and scripting.
• •Extensive experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware vSphere, Hyper-V).
• •Proven experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure and/or AWS, including IaaS, PaaS, and related services.
• •Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Firewalls).
• •Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar.
• •Experience with automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) is a plus.
• •Familiarity with database systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• •Excellent problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to identifying and resolving complex technical issues.
• •Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• •Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• •Relevant industry certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate) are highly desirable.
