Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated Senior Technical Account Manager to serve as a technical expert on our Demand Partnerships team, supporting our key Property & Casualty (P&C) advertisers. You’ll scope what each partner integration needs, set up campaigns, and make sure everything works once it’s live. From there, you’ll manage day-to-day campaign operations on our platform and use performance data to optimize accounts and grow results. You’ll also sit between our partners and our technology teams, translating advertiser needs into clear, build-ready requirements. The ideal candidate comes from a technical account management, solutions engineering, ad trafficking, or programmatic ad operations background. You should have an analytical mindset, work comfortably across internal teams, and thrive in a fast-moving, data-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Analyze partner KPIs and campaign performance data to recommend optimizations to internal teams and directly to partners.

Gather integration requirements directly from partners, including API specifications, authentication methods, and data formats, and translate them into clear, build-ready tickets for our engineers.

Test and monitor integrations, including data passing, conversion tracking, and performance imports. When data is missing or inaccurate, identify the root cause and work with partners and technology teams to fix it.

Serve as a platform expert, advising partners and internal teams on best practices, configuration, and what's technically possible.

Partner with the Business Analytics team on performance models, providing partner context and validating real-time bidding (RTB) model outputs against account performance trends.

Contribute to partner business reviews, including quarterly business reviews (QBRs), with performance analysis and forward-looking recommendations.

Support new product launches and share a point of view on product improvements, based on partner feedback, JIRA ticket patterns, and data.

Build trusted relationships across the organization and develop a strong understanding of how we operate, including our best practices and how we allocate resources.

Maintain a holistic understanding of how our advertising products and technologies fit into the online advertising ecosystem, the consumer journey, and a client's broader marketing plan.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have most of the following qualifications:

5+ years in technical account management, solutions engineering, ad operations, or trafficking in online advertising.

Background in performance-based marketing, ideally in a programmatic environment.

Hands-on experience scoping and validating partner API integrations, including authentication (API keys, OAuth) and JSON payload formats.

Track record of translating partner technical requirements into clear specifications that engineers can build from.

Proficiency setting up conversion tracking methods, such as data imports and server-to-server (S2S) integrations.

Skilled at testing and monitoring live integrations, including diagnosing failed, delayed, or malformed data transfers.

Experience with RTB and programmatic auction mechanics.

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data manipulation).

Solid knowledge of relevant industry KPIs and a client-service focus within performance marketing.

Knowledge of the insurance industry and ecosystem.

Experience working alongside technology teams in a ticket-based workflow, such as Jira.

Critical and creative thinking, with the ability to synthesize large datasets.

Clear, concise written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

A self-starter who manages multiple competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Highly organized, with a client-first mindset and meticulous attention to detail.

Ability to use industry knowledge and insights gained across multiple clients to shape account strategy and recommendations.

Eagerness to learn and a drive to improve.
