Communicate clear, actionable technical corrections to overseas manufacturing partners and manage revisions through resolution.

Support the Design-to-Product Development handoff, translating design concepts into factory-ready specifications while maintaining design intent and manufacturability.

Track sample submissions, approvals, and development milestones across seasonal calendars, maintaining accurate records and proactively identifying timeline or execution risks.

Partner with Product Managers, Design, and CMF Development to ensure material and construction decisions are technically viable and accurately represented in product specifications.

Participate in development reviews and pre-production approvals, assessing construction quality, specification compliance, and manufacturing feasibility while incorporating learnings into future development best practices.

5+ years of experience in soft goods technical design or product development, including hands-on experience from prototype through pre-production in bags, accessories, or structured soft goods.

Demonstrated ability to create, read, evaluate, and maintain tech packs for construction accuracy and specification compliance.

Strong knowledge of soft goods construction, including seam types, hardware attachment, fabric behavior, trim integration, and finishing standards.

Experience working directly with overseas manufacturing partners, including Asian factories, throughout the development cycle from initial samples through bulk production.

Ability to communicate technical corrections and development direction to manufacturing partners with clarity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for technical flats, specification markup, and construction documentation, with the ability to travel internationally several times per year.
