In this role you will be responsible for advancing Optiver’s end-to-end experienced recruitment strategy to find, attract, and hire experienced technical talent. You will work closely with leaders across the business on what is needed now and into the future. This role will focus on technology recruitment.
What you’ll do
As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you’ll work alongside a passionate team of specialists, focusing on key areas that contribute to the team’s goals. Responsibilities include:
Own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for technical roles, partnering with engineering leaders to develop hiring strategies, design interview processes, assess candidates, and lead complex offer negotiations through offer acceptance
Act as a trusted talent advisor to engineering leaders, providing market insights, coaching on hiring best practices, and guiding hiring decisions through data and expertise
Develop innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive talent, leveraging market mapping, referrals, research, and creative outreach to build high-quality pipelines
Take a data-driven approach to monitoring pipeline health, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders to inform hiring strategy
Deliver a white-glove candidate experience from initial engagement through offer acceptance, representing Optiver's culture throughout the recruitment journey

Who you are
6+ years experience in full-cycle recruitment for experienced talent, ideally in-house and within financial services, technology, or professional services
Past experience recruiting for technical roles, ideally within a competitive industry
Knowledge and understanding of the talent markets for engineers in software and hardware domains is highly advantageous
A consultative approach with demonstrated experience influencing stakeholders at all seniority levels.
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Deep experience with applicant tracking systems (experience with Greenhouse is a plus) and sourcing platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter
The ability to analyze candidate data for reporting purposes, utilizing tools like Excel and AI technology
A proactive, positive mindset with a passion for identifying and hiring top talent
