Senior Technical Support Engineer - OSS/BSS

Role Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Technical Support Engineer with strong expertise in Linux/UNIX systems, Kubernetes, and Shell scripting, along with hands-on experience in telecom protocols and online charging systems.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring system stability, handling incidents, and supporting business-critical applications in a high-availability environment

Key Responsibilities

• •Provide L2/L3 support for Online Charging Systems (OCS) and related telecom infrastructure.
• •Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HTTP2/REST, Diameter, and SS7 protocols .
• •Perform preventive health checks , monitor network stability , and ensure optimal system performance.
• •Handle incident management , including hot and critical issues, and perform KPI and traffic analysis .
• •Configure and maintain business/tariff products and ensure accurate deployment.
• •Work collaboratively with a team of skilled engineers to resolve complex technical issues.

Participate in 24/7 shift rotations , including weekends and holidays, as per business requirements

Job Requirements

• •Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX systems and Shell scripting .
• •Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• •Good understanding of HTTP2/REST APIs , Diameter , and SS7 protocols.
• •Experience in a customer support environment , preferably in telecom or network services.
• •Familiarity with incident, problem, and configuration management processes.
• •Proficient in Couchbase , Elasticsearch , and Kafka .
• •Strong logical and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
• •Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• •Willingness to learn new technologies and stay updated with industry trends.
• •6 - 10 years of relevant experience in the above areas

Preferred Qualifications:

• •Experience with monitoring tools and log analysis platforms .
• •Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines .
• •Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
