Position Summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking skilled Electronics Technicians to join our world class In-House Repair team. We’re looking for true diagnostic experts who enjoy diving deep into a circuit to find the root cause of a failure. If you are someone who finds satisfaction in solving intricate electronic puzzles, mastering a soldering iron, and keeping mission critical fab equipment operational, this is the role for you. Role and Responsibilities

Here's What You'll Be Responsible For:

Operating test equipment like oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and multimeters to diagnose and repair issues with electronics assemblies.

Operation of a Flying Probe to include testing and test sequence programming.

Apply electronic theory of operation principles and troubleshooting best practices.

Create, update, and implement formal troubleshooting procedures.

Perform micro-soldering and SMT precision repair.

Skills and Qualifications

Here's What You'll Need:

• •HS Diploma with a minimum of 15 years experience.
• •Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and symbols.
• •Proficiency in through-hole, SMT, and micro-soldering.
• •Strong understanding of electronic components and circuit operation.
• •Proven ability to troubleshoot and create repair procedures.
• •Experience with Digital Multimeter functions and applications.
• •Strict adherence to all safety standards and PPE requirements.

The current base salary range for this role is between $31.00 - $46.00/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.

This position may include access to controlled information or technology under U.S. export control laws. Employment may be contingent on either the applicant verifying that the applicant falls under the “U.S. Person” definition (including U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, and those granted U.S. asylum or refugee status) or the employer timely obtaining any necessary export license under federal law.
