Our open, honest, and collaborative approach has made us a trusted partner for clients like RAC, Cannaray, and WatchFinder and earned us awards such as Best Large SEO Agency at the UK Search Awards.

We're excited to launch our new office in Seville, Spain and are looking for a talented, experienced SEO Manager to join our founding team. This is a unique opportunity to help shape our brand's presence in Spain from day one, while gaining hands-on experience across a broad client portfolio.

About the role

In this position, you will take full strategic ownership of several client accounts, leading the relationship at a senior level while directing the technical, analytical, and creative work that underpins a successful SEO campaign. You'll be trusted to set the strategy, defend it to senior stakeholders, and be accountable for the results it delivers.

Some of the key responsibilities of the role will include:

Own the SEO performance for your client accounts end-to-end, setting and defending the strategy and roadmap at senior stakeholder level.

Direct technical audits, keyword research, and content recommendations, and take accountability for the reports and forecasts that go to clients.

Monitor client websites daily, weekly, and monthly, and own course correction when the SEO channel is off track against its North Star Metrics.

Lead relationships within the broader client team, including marketing, in-house developers, content writers, and social media teams, acting as the senior SEO voice in the room.

Proactively identify and pursue upsell opportunities within client accounts.

Set the tone for best practices across the team, sharing initiatives and results and mentoring less experienced colleagues.

Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends and represent Blue Array through internal and external speaking opportunities.

Educate other areas of the business on how their work impacts SEO category performance.

Opportunity to line-manage and develop an SEO Specialist, overseeing their workload and ongoing development.

Work towards clear targets (KPIs) aligned with the company's objectives, and take ownership of hitting them.

Why You?

We are looking for experienced SEO professionals with a proven track record of managing client accounts and stakeholders at a senior level. Most importantly, we want to connect with those passionate about SEO and ready to take the next step in their career as a senior SEO leader.

The key traits we look for in our SEO Managers include:

A genuine and contagious enthusiasm for SEO and Digital Marketing.

A blend of analytical and creative thinking to craft innovative campaigns.

Strong problem-solving skills that drive results, even under pressure.

A self-motivated attitude; someone who consistently strives for excellence and holds themselves to a high standard.

Outstanding planning, organisational, and communication skills, enabling you to juggle multiple projects, manage senior stakeholders, and manage your time effectively.

Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to see client success from a broader business perspective beyond SEO.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, that inspire confidence and command credibility with senior stakeholders.

A commitment to exceeding client expectations, fostering satisfaction and loyalty.

Proven experience taking full ownership and accountability for the performance of your accounts.

Strong working knowledge of essential SEO tools (e.g., Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs).

An excellent understanding of traffic and conversion measurement, with experience interpreting data and deriving insight at a strategic level.

Seasoned at producing in-depth reviews and reporting on business KPIs to senior audiences.

Significant experience managing your own workload and that of others.

Join our supportive, collaborative, and ambitious community of passionate individuals dedicated to making a meaningful difference for clients. If this resonates with you, you will thrive in this environment.
