Server - Restaurant

Description

Responsible for greeting and seating customers, taking food and drink orders, forwarding food orders to cooks, picking up and delivering completed orders, and inviting customer to return. Assist customers in selection of food and beverage items by presenting menus, offering suggestions, explaining specials, promoting other appropriate food and drink items such as desserts, and answering other general questions. Follow up on all customer requests in a timely, courteous manner while remaining aware of the dining process, clearing dishes promptly, and refilling beverages. Protect company and customers by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies. Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing results as needed.

• •Wage: $1/r plus tips.
• •Schedule: Friday & Saturday evening, Sunday morning
• •Work Status: Part-time
• •Primary Location: Portland

Requirements

Skills & Experience:

• •Experience in high-volume restaurants/lounges is strongly preferred.
• •Strong service-related background and hospitality mindset.
• •Must be able to obtain Oregon Food Handler's Certificate and OLCC Server's Permit within 30 days of hire.
• •MICROS experience is strongly preferred.
• •Desire to accommodate a wide variety of personalities to achieve highest possible level of customer satisfaction.
