COME JOIN OUR TEAM AT REEFER PETERBILT METRO! Reefer Peterbilt is a second-generation family-owned medium & heavy-duty truck dealership looking for a Full-Time Service Advisor in New Boston, MI. This individual must be customer-oriented, be a team player, highly organized, and motivated.

Responsibilities:

• •Answer incoming service calls, schedule service appointments, and maintain communication
• •Welcome customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain necessary vehicle information
• •Help identify mechanical problems by carefully listening to customer concerns and doing visual inspections
• •Open repair order with detailed descriptions of customer concerns on repair orders to familiarize technicians on work to perform
• •Ensure customer approval on all estimated repairs
• •Follow up progress of each repair order during the day
• •Close repair orders to include required documentation and information according to policy/procedure and state laws
• •Explain all diagnoses, work performed, and any repair order charges to the customer
• •Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business
• •Check in new trucks delivered to the shop and complete the proper forms
• •Perform other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

• •Ability to demonstrate strong customer service skills
• •Problem-Solving
• •Working knowledge of computers and proficient in web navigation
• •Strong written and verbal communication skills
• •Self-motivated, willing to learn and grow with the company

Requirements

• •High school diploma or equivalent
• •Must pass Pre-employment physical, drug, and background check
• •Unrestricted ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, squat, lift & carry up to 50 lbs.

Hourly from $22.50 + $32.00 shift premium, based on experience.

Monday – Friday, 9:30 am - 6:00 pm, rotating Saturday, 7:00 am - 1:00 pm
