About the role

Join AGL’s Energy Assets Technology – Service Management team and play a key role in strengthening the resilience and reliability of the technology that supports our Integrated Energy business.

As the Service Continuity Design & Standards lead, you’ll develop the standards, frameworks and practices that underpin disaster recovery, business continuity and technology resilience across our Energy Assets Technology environment. Working across both IT and Operational Technology (OT), you’ll help establish robust service continuity capabilities while improving how we manage risk, incidents, audit actions and technology assets.

Reporting to the Head of Service Management – IE Technology, this is a highly collaborative role where you’ll work with technology teams, site teams, stakeholders and managed service partners to build sustainable processes and drive better resilience outcomes.

Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract/secondment.

What you’ll be doing

• •Establish and mature Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) capabilities across Energy Assets Technology.
• •Develop and coordinate DR planning, testing schedules and governance across technology teams and delivery partners.
• •Create a centralised view of actions and lessons learned from DR testing and service continuity activities, supporting informed decision-making.
• •Design and implement major incident management processes for OT, aligning with broader IT processes and stakeholders.
• •Develop governance and processes for technology risk, issue management and internal audit actions, including reporting and management oversight.
• •Support service continuity initiatives through business analysis, process mapping, stakeholder engagement and coordination with site teams.
• •Strengthen asset management practices by establishing clear processes, accountabilities and links between asset management and service continuity.

What you’ll bring

• •Strong experience in IT Service Management (ITSM), service continuity, disaster recovery, business continuity or a related technology resilience discipline.
• •A solid understanding of the ITIL framework, with experience establishing or improving service management processes.
• •Experience working across large, complex technology or application environments. Exposure to both IT and OT environments would be highly valuable.
• •Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across technical teams, business stakeholders and external partners.
• •Experience managing technology risks, issues, audit actions and governance activities.
• •Strong organisational, prioritisation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity.
• •An understanding of cyber security foundations and a commitment to creating a safe working environment.
