Service Desk Technician Level I

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Service Desk Technician Level I to join our IT team in Langley, BC.

Reporting to the Manager, IT Service Desk , you will provide first-level incident support and resolution for business applications and hardware.

You will be responsible for:

• •Providing first-level support and resolution for incidents related to Business Applications and Hardware.
• •Troubleshooting issues involving Operating Systems, Applications, Networks, Internet connectivity, Email, Input and Output devices.
• •Resolving problems through phone, Email, remote connection, and instant messaging.
• •Utilizing knowledge bases and FAQ resources on the Internet and Intranet to troubleshoot incidents to resolution.
• •Escalating unresolved issues to Level 2 and Level 3 resources promptly and efficiently.
• •Documenting and updating information in the ticketing system as required.
• •Following up with end users to provide status updates and confirm resolution satisfaction.
• •Collaborating with IT team members to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and guidelines of the IT Department.

You have:

A degree or Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology; or 1+ years of relevant experience in a Help Desk or IT Service Desk role.

Compensation Details:

$54,909.00 - $68,636.00 The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience and other factors.
