The role combines transition delivery leadership with strong capabilities in sales support, transition solutioning, RFP/RFI responses, estimation, and client presentations/orals. The successful candidate will manage complex global transitions involving client stakeholders, offshore teams, internal leadership, and third-party suppliers while ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Your role
- Lead end-to-end Application Support, AMS, and Application Development transitions, covering planning, governance, knowledge transfer, operational readiness, stabilization, and handover to steady-state operations.
- Develop and manage integrated transition plans using Microsoft Project, including workstreams, milestones, dependencies, critical paths, resource requirements, deliverables, and transition exit criteria.
- Manage transition governance, risks and issues, quality assurance, status reporting, financials, budgets, forecasts, contractual commitments, and timely completion of agreed deliverables.
- Lead client and internal stakeholder engagement across senior leadership, account and delivery teams, offshore resources, technology teams, and third-party suppliers.
- Own transition solutioning and sales support, including discovery, estimation, transition approach development, staffing models, timelines, assumptions, risks, and multi-tower transition plans.
- Support sales pursuits by contributing to RFP/RFI responses, due-diligence workshops, client orals, and executive presentations, confidently presenting and defending the proposed transition solution.
- Drive continuous improvement, transition capability development, team leadership, and adoption of appropriate automation and AI-enabled transition practices.
Your skills and experience
- 10+ years of overall IT services experience, including 5–10 years in Service Transition or Transition Management roles, preferably within consulting, outsourcing, or global managed-services environments.
- Strong experience managing large, complex transitions for Application Support, AMS, and Application Development services, with an understanding of L1/L2/L3 support models and steady-state operations.
- Demonstrated experience in sales support and transition solutioning, including estimation, solution development, RFP/RFI responses, due diligence, commercial inputs, and multi-tower transition planning.
- Strong client-facing experience, with the ability to lead client orals, workshops, executive presentations, and solution-defense sessions with senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, and Excel, including integrated scheduling, dependency management, resource planning, critical-path tracking, financial reporting, and executive-level presentations.
- Strong knowledge of transition governance, staffing, knowledge transfer, financial management, service-management processes and tools, technology and infrastructure setup, and globally distributed delivery models.
- Experience using AI tools to plan, monitor, report, analyze risks, manage knowledge, or improve transition execution is desirable; infrastructure-services transition experience is an added advantage.
