The Detroit Garage in Whitmore Lake, MI is looking to hire an exceptional Service Advisor to join our winning team! With 10 locations and rapidly expanding, The Detroit Garage provides the highest quality automotive services to its customers and is changing the way people think about auto repair. We believe in providing the highest quality automotive services to our customers and doing things right the first time. The Service Advisor is responsible for building strong customer relationships, providing excellent customer service, and selling recommended services and repairs. Service Writers will greet and consult customers on their needs, while providing value-added recommendations and education on services that will result in long-term cost-savings.

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service either in-person or by phone
  • Act as a point of contact between technicians and customers
  • Perform a vehicle walk-around and documentation of customer concerns to enable technicians to properly diagnose and service the vehicle
  • Keep customers informed on completion times, service expenses, and possible changes
  • Follow and promote our high standards of safety, organization, and cleanliness

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Automotive knowledge with at least 1-2 years of working experience as an Automotive Service Advisor- REQUIRED
  • Career-minded individuals looking to grow within the company
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Honesty and integrity, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Team-first mentality
  • Valid driver's license- REQUIRED
