The role is primarily development-focused, with functional knowledge to understand business processes, clarify requirements, and translate them into secure, maintainable, and user-friendly technical solutions.

The successful candidate will develop SharePoint solutions using modern SharePoint capabilities, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, React, REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, PnPjs, PnP PowerShell, and PowerShell. The candidate will also build canvas and model-driven Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, Dataverse solutions, Power BI reports, and integrations with Microsoft 365 and line-of-business systems. SharePoint migration and modernization experience using ShareGate or comparable tools is desirable, along with the ability to support technical analysis, testing, deployment, documentation, and production support.

Key Responsibilities.

Conduct requirement workshops, understand business processes, identify pain points, and translate requirements into user stories, functional specifications, solution features, and acceptance criteria.

Design, configure, and enhance SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server solutions, including modern sites, pages, lists, document libraries, views, content types, site columns, managed metadata, navigation, and permissions.

Implement document-management and collaboration solutions covering versioning, approvals, metadata-driven classification, access control, search, content lifecycle, and user experience.

Configure SharePoint security using Microsoft 365 groups, SharePoint groups, permission levels, inheritance, audience targeting, and least-privilege principles.

Analyse existing SharePoint sites and business processes, identify modernization opportunities, and recommend appropriate use of standard SharePoint capabilities, Power Platform, or supported extensions.

Plan and execute SharePoint migrations using ShareGate or comparable tools, including inventory, pre-migration assessment, remediation, user and permission mapping, metadata mapping, migration waves, delta migration, validation, reconciliation, and post-migration support.

Create SharePoint and Power Platform integration solutions using lists, libraries, connectors, forms, workflows, notifications, approvals, dashboards, and Microsoft 365 services.

Design and develop responsive canvas apps and model-driven apps using reusable components, user-friendly navigation, forms, validations, conditional logic, filtering, and role-based experiences.

Write and optimize Power Fx formulas for application logic, data operations, validation, error handling, and dynamic screen behaviour.

Design Dataverse tables, columns, relationships, forms, views, business rules, business process flows, security roles, and configuration data.

Build Power Automate cloud flows, including automated, instant, scheduled, approval, notification, and integration workflows.

Design Power BI datasets, data models, measures, dashboards, and reports, and embed relevant analytics within Power Apps where required.

Use Power Query to prepare, transform, validate, and model data for reporting and application scenarios.

Configure and support Power Pages solutions where required, including page setup, access, forms, and integration with Dataverse.

Work with SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server environments, including lists, libraries, metadata, permissions, content validation, and integration with Power Platform.

Support SharePoint migrations using ShareGate, including inventory assessment, user and permission mapping, batch planning, incremental migration, validation, reporting, and issue resolution.

Participate in backlog grooming and sprint planning, support estimation, and track delivery in Agile/Scrum environments.

Prepare functional designs, process flows, wireframes, data mappings, test scenarios, test scripts, user guides, release notes, and operational support documents.

Perform unit and functional testing; support system integration testing and user acceptance testing; manage defects through resolution and obtain stakeholder sign-off.

Conduct sprint demonstrations, solution walkthroughs, training, deployment readiness reviews, and handover sessions with business and support teams.

Collaborate with architects, developers, testers, product owners, security teams, infrastructure teams, and onshore/offshore delivery teams.

Apply development, security, access-control, documentation, governance, and application-lifecycle-management standards throughout delivery.

Provide production support, investigate incidents and service requests, perform impact assessments, and deliver approved enhancements within agreed service levels.
