What You Can Expect :
This role will allow the implementation and learn skills in key areas of compliance, as below.
· ISO 9001, 14001, GDP, HACCP & SQAS
· ADR – Road
· Emergency Response
· Chemical Handling
- Assist in the administration and continuous improvement of the company's SHEQ management systems.
- Maintain accurate SHEQ records, documentation and compliance databases.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring any actions are completed within agreed timescales.
- Monitor compliance and help prepare reports on SHEQ performance and key metrics.
- Assist with the investigation of accidents, incidents, near misses and non-conformance issues.
- Help maintain risk assessments, safe systems of work and associated documentation.
- Coordinate safety communications, inductions and toolbox talks.
- Work with managers & supervisors across the business to encourage a positive safety culture.
- Support compliance with relevant legislation, standards and internal procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and compliance.
- Manage day-to-day administrative activities, including correspondence, meetings, training coordination, and maintaining SHEQ databases, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Collect and maintain accurate health and safety data, supporting reporting, performance monitoring, and informed decision-making.

- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve safety, health, environmental, and quality-related challenges.
- Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and promote a culture of safety and quality throughout the organization.
- Adaptability: Capability to adapt to changing regulations, technologies, and industry standards.
- Organizational Skills: Efficiently manage SHEQ documentation, records, and reporting.
- Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of relevant regulations, and standards related to SHEQ.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Desire to seek out opportunities for enhancing safety, health, environmental, and quality practices.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
An understanding at any level of Hazardous Chemical awareness, ADR, COMAH, Auditing
Previous experience in the Transport & Logistics industry & Emergency response experience a distinct advantage
