· Lead alarm and incident response: Ensure alarms are promptly acknowledged and verified; direct Shift Engineers during troubleshooting, isolation, recovery and stabilisation; provide continuous updates through approved channels and contact standby support as required.
· Maintain incident and defect control: Prepare initial incident chronology, impact and recovery information; maintain event logs from detection to closure; update problem, defect and Check & Confirm records with clear owners and actions.
· Enforce access and safety requirements: Prevent unauthorised entry, ensure restricted-area doors are controlled, stop unsafe or unauthorised work, and enforce PPE, PTW, MOP, risk assessment and site safety requirements.
· Support customers and management: Acknowledge and coordinate Service Desk, customer and vendor requests within SLA; escalate unresolved risks, defects, repeated alarms and manpower concerns to the Facilities Supervisor.
· Develop team capability: Provide technical guidance and coaching, support EOP drills and documentation, and assist the Facilities Supervisor with reporting, incident review, maintenance coordination and competency development.
