Shift Manager Maintenance

Location: Ishpeming, MI

Cleveland-Cliff has an immediate opportunity for a Shift Manager Maintenance at our Tilden Mine site. This position will provide management oversight of all maintenance related projects in the Tilden Plant.

Summary of Responsibilities :

• •Ensures that all department work is performed in a safe manner and that all work areas are maintained to meet all MSHA standards.
• •Assigns work to the team per the daily and weekly schedule.
• •Responsible for the quality execution of work and reports and recommends solutions to deviations from the plan.
• •Provides coaching, leadership, and direction for department personnel.
• •Distributes work orders for every job and provides progress updates to the senior shift manager daily.
• •Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :

• •High School Diploma or GED required.
• •Supervisory experience or previous experience in a similar role.
• •Ability to read and comprehend Gantt charts and use CMMS software (training provided)
• •Rotating shift role that alternates weekly. Must be able to work alternate schedules that may include early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and/or overtime, and be punctual while doing so.

Preferred Qualifications:

• •2-4 years of experience in an industrial setting.
• •2-4 year technical degree or equivalent education.
