Shipping and Procurement Officer

AMSM is looking to recruit a Shipping and Procurement Officer on a full-time reduced basis (30 hours p/week) within our Commercial Department .

JOB DESCRIPTION

Calculating and placing orders with our suppliers

Daily interaction with our suppliers to monitor the status of our orders and any issues that may arise

Preparing and maintaining purchasing reports, records and updated price lists

Calculating order costs and evaluating proforma invoices for accuracy

Ensuring that the product inventory is always up to date

Working closely with the Sales, Warehouse & Accounts Departments

YOUR PROFILE

Advanced Level of Education

Able to communicate well in English and Maltese.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – especially Microsoft Excel.

Candidates with experience in a similar role will be given preference.

A team player with strong interpersonal skills, organisation skills and able to work towards deadlines
