JOB TITLE: Shipping Associate

JOB SUMMARY

This Shipping Associate will be responsible for ensuring proper receipt and placement/storage of materials throughout the warehouse and shop.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• •At least 1 year of shipping/receiving experience
• •At least 1 year of experience working with hand and power tools
• •Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• •Forklift Certified

• •Able to work evenings and some holidays, and overtime when needed

CORE DUTIES

• •Read and record serial numbers from firearms
• •Memorize all models and specifications
• •Pack orders following proper instructions and verify all relevant information of outbound shipments
• •Load and unload trucks
• •Provide communication to management when daily tasks cannot be accomplished in a regular workday
• •Provide back-up for all shipping/receiving function
• •Undergo training in all areas of the warehouse (Shipping, Receiving, and OSP)
• •Maintain overall appearance, cleanliness, neatness, etc. in shipping/receiving area
• •Operate power equipment in a safe and efficient way (forklift & pallet jack)

HOURS

• •1st shift position
• •Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• •Friday- overtime as needed

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen.? Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
