Shipping/Rec/Delivery Driver

Description

Shipping and Receiving ensuring accurate deliveries and receiving of materials - must have CDL

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Coordinate the movement of inventory, meticulously documenting transfers and related notes on purchase orders.

· Maintain an organized storage area, adhering to best practices in storage design and suggesting improvements as needed.

· Collaborate with various levels of the organization to meet shipping requirements effectively.

· Maintain accurate records of shipments, ensuring compliance with customer specifications.

· Manage finished goods inventory in accordance with company policies.

· Prioritize plant safety, ensuring adherence to safety regulations.

· Actively align with the company's goals and objectives as outlined by plant and corporate management.

· Provide transportation services, including the conveyance of materials and equipment as necessary.

· Always adhere strictly to safety standards and protocols.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Demonstrated experience in building maintenance.

· Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting maintenance issues with buildings.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

· Excellent attention to detail.

· Capability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).

· Flexibility to work a varied schedule

· Valid CDL driver's license with a clean driving record.
