• Position Overview
• The Bruery is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Shipping + Warehouse Assistant to support our Direct-to-Consumer shipping and warehouse operations.
• This is a hands-on role responsible for accurately picking and packing customer orders, preparing transfers our fulfillment partners, building shipping materials, organizing warehouse inventory, and helping keep day-to-day fulfillment operations moving efficiently.
• Our beer portfolio includes hundreds of individual products, multiple vintages, limited releases, member-exclusive beers, and multi-bottle sets and bundles. Accuracy is extremely important. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye, strong memory, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in getting every order right.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct-to-Consumer Fulfillment

• •Pick and pack Direct-to-Consumer shipping orders accurately and efficiently.
• •Verify products, quantities, vintages, and order contents before packing.
• •Stage completed orders for shipment and carrier pickup.
• •Palletize completed DTC orders for transfer and shipment.
• •Maintain clean and organized picking, packing, and staging areas.

Fulfillment Warehouse Inventory

• •Pick and pack inventory designated for multiple third-party fulfillment warehouses.
• •Prepare and palletize inventory for transfer to fulfillment partners.
• •Assist with loading, unloading, and staging inventory transfers.
• •Receive and put away inventory and restocks.
• •Ensure inventory is placed in the correct warehouse locations and remains organized and accessible.
• •Help verify product quantities and accuracy during inventory movements.

Warehouse & Shipping Support

• •Build and prepare shipping boxes and other packing materials.
• •Palletize beer, packaged orders, and fulfillment inventory safely and efficiently.
• •Move cases, boxes, and inventory throughout the warehouse.
• •Assist with general warehouse organization and cleanliness.
• •Help maintain adequate supplies of boxes and packing materials.
• •Support additional shipping and warehouse projects as needed.

Requirements

• What We're Looking For
• Exceptional attention to detail. Our portfolio includes hundreds of beers across different brands, releases, vintages, bottle sizes, and packaging formats. You should be able to confidently distinguish between similar products and ensure the correct beer makes it into every order.
• Strong memory and product recognition. You will become familiar with numerous beer locations, recurring bundles, sampler sets, packaging configurations, and warehouse processes. The ability to learn and retain this information quickly is extremely valuable.
• Accuracy without sacrificing pace. Shipping volume can be high, and orders need to move efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Physical stamina. This is an active warehouse position that involves standing and walking for extended periods, repeatedly lifting and moving boxes and cases, bending, reaching, and palletizing inventory.
• Dependability. Our shipping operation relies on consistent execution. We are looking for someone who arrives on time, stays organized, communicates clearly, and can be counted on to complete assigned work.
• Team mentality. This role works closely with the Shipping and Operations teams and should be comfortable jumping between picking, packing, inventory movement, box building, and other warehouse priorities as needed.
• Qualifications

• •Part-time availability Monday through Friday.
• •Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods.
• •Able to repeatedly lift and move heavy boxes and cases safely.
• •Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• •Strong memory and ability to learn and recognize a large number of individual products.
• •Ability to follow established picking, packing, staging, and inventory procedures.
• •Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• •Previous warehouse, shipping, fulfillment, inventory, or order-picking experience is preferred but not required.
• •Experience working with a large number of SKUs or visually similar products is a plus.
