Airgas is Hiring for a Shop Laborer Charlotte, NC!

We are looking for you!

• •Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
• •Equipment repair and maintenance training is an asset
• •Keep a clean working environment and assist other technicians in the shop as needed.
• •Hourly pay $22-$27 per hour plus Bonus

Keep a clean working environment and assist other technicians in the shop as needed.

• •Maintains a safe working environment by following Airgas/Red-D-Arc’s health and safety guidelines.
• •Ensures a safe work environment by following Airgas/Red-D-Arc’s health and safety guidelines.
• •Test and calibrate machines to see if they are functional for rent or sale.
• •Repaint parts, touch up paint, and put decals on welders to keep up the general appearance.
• •Replace defective parts and do any preventative maintenance required.
• •Get parts as required in order to complete repairs.
• •Inspect returned equipment for proper operation and /or damage by the customer.
• •Operate a forklift, pallet jack or other necessary equipment to move machines and equipment in the shop.
• •Maintains communication with all branch personnel.
• •Performs other related operational/shop duties as required.

Are you a MATCH?

Required

High School Diploma or GED

0-1 years of related technical experience; we welcome those early in their career or transitioning from similar fields.

Possession of a valid Driver’s License is required for this role.

• •Thoroughness and care in technical tasks, paired with solid organizational skills.
• •Ability to multi-task and thrive with trusted autonomy while staying connected to team goals.
