Courses are in-person and on-campus for the Spring 2027 semester (Class start date 01/04/2027)

Course: Short-Term Missions Lab

This lab focuses on constructing and implementing short-term missions strategies, such as medical education, children's ministry, youth ministry, and Christian service within various missional settings for the purpose of making disciples. This lab is designed to be an interactive, community experience which is not available via independent study.

What You Will Do:

Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions

Engage students in learning course objectives and topics

Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom

Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.

What You Will Bring:

MDiv, DMin, PhD, or MA from an accredited college or university.

Doctoral degree or Master of Arts must be in an area of missions or intercultural studies.

At least two years professional experience in the pastorate, mission field, or teaching missions/intercultural studies at the postsecondary level.
