Over two exciting years, you’ll gain hands-on experiences and become an active part of your team’s daily activities. Through impactful projects in three customized assignments - including an eight-month international placement - you’ll gain a deep understanding of Siemens Energy. A dedicated mentor will support you every step of the way, giving you the chance to explore different roles, engage in immersive experiences, and build a strong network with peers and industry leaders.

As a graduate Market & Competition Analyst (m/f/d), you’ll support the analysis of global markets, competitors, and industry trends to help shape strategic priorities for our Grid Technologies division. This role is designed for early-career talent and focuses on building strong analytical, structured thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• As part of our Graduate Program, you are on the Siemens Energy team. You’ll share our purpose in energizing society by supporting customers with transitioning to a more sustainable world and work on real global issues, creating solutions that directly make an impact.
• •Support the analysis of market and competitor developments, including portfolios, technologies, and emerging business models
• •Collect, structure, and synthesize data from internal and external sources to create clear insights and fact-based storylines
• •Prepare presentations, dashboards, and briefing materials for management and strategy discussions
• •Contribute to strategic projects such as competitor benchmarking, portfolio reviews, and market deep dives
• •Collaborate closely with colleagues across Sales, Products, Service, and Strategy to ensure insights translate into action
• •Learn and apply data-driven and AI-supported approaches to accelerate analysis and improve insight quality

• What You Bring
• •Motivation to learn, take ownership, and grow in a fast-paced, international environment
• •Strong analytical and structured thinking, with curiosity for markets, competition, and strategy
• •High proficiency in PowerPoint and confidence in translating analyses into clear, compelling visuals
• •Relevant experience through internships and/or working student roles is essential; additional permanent work experience of up to 36 months is welcome
• •A master's or doctoral degree in business, economics, engineering, data analytics, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 months of international experience gained through studying or working
• •Excellent English skills to engage in a multicultural environment, with flexibility and willingness for international travel; German is a plus
