Description

  • The Construction Technologies/SITECH Digital Construction Professional provides expert client support, training, and consulting for Trimble and Cat digital construction and machine control technologies. This role partners with clients, sales, and internal teams to
  • ensure successful implementation, performance, and adoption of construction technology solutions that improve productivity and accuracy on jobsites.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Serve as Trimble/Cat technology expert for on & off machine software, office and cloud based solutions.
  • Provide client training on Trimble Business Center (TBC), WorksManager, WorksOS, SiteWorks, EarthWorks, Cat Grade, VisionLink Production and related platforms
  • Support new and existing customers with setup, troubleshooting, and optimization of software and machine technology
  • Act as the primary technical liaison with manufacturer representatives to resolve application issues
  • Support sales efforts through demos, solution recommendations, quote review, and customer consulting
  • Communicate technical issues, solutions, and improvement opportunities to SITECH/Riggs management

Requirements

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • 5–10 years of experience with GPS/machine control technology (Trimble preferred)
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and jobsite workflows
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical documentation
  • Experience with electrical and mechanical systems related to construction technology
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service abilities
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Work Environment & Travel

  • Blended office and field role with regular customer jobsite visits
  • Overnight travel expected approximately 1–5 nights per month
  • Physically active role requiring lifting (up to 25 lbs occasionally) and working around construction equipment

The employee is routinely lifting up to 20 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.

The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock and vibration.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with hearing protection required at times.
