FULL-TIME SKILLED TECHNICIAN

Land Rover Hinsdale

Role at a Glance

Land Rover Hinsdale is seeking a Full-Time Skilled Technician to join our team. Skilled Technicians perform maintenance, inspections, and pre-owned vehicle reconditioning while supporting the overall efficiency and quality of our service operation.

This is an opportunity to work in a premium Land Rover environment with consistent hours, a strong workflow, modern equipment, and opportunities for continued training and advancement toward Journeyman classification.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Performing routine maintenance services and fluid exchanges
  • Completing tire and brake services and other work within classification scope
  • Performing pre-owned vehicle reconditioning and internal retail preparation
  • Conducting multi-point inspections and documenting findings accurately
  • Performing minor inspections and troubleshooting within classification limits
  • Resetting electronic systems when permitted
  • Supporting OEM campaigns and service needs within classification limitations
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Communicating effectively with the team to support quality and throughput

Requirements

  • Prior automotive technician experience required; Skilled Technician, C-Tech, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Strong technical judgment within classification limits
  • Commitment to safety and consistent adherence to SOPs
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality and accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with the service team
  • Dependable, professional, and committed to delivering quality work
